The Dutch mezzo-soprano Marie-Claire op ten Noort is a versatile singer with a wide-ranging repertoire. In 2027, she will make her debut with the Nederlandse Reisopera in the new opera Overdwars. In 2028 she will return to Weekend Opera Utrecht as Charlotte in Werther. In 2025–26, she performed the role of Rafael in Jan van Maanen’s award-winning opera Gijsbrecht van Aemstel at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, which won the Schaunard Award. She returned to Weekend Opera Utrecht as Bersi in Andrea Chénier in TivoliVredenburg and appeared at Dutch national tv in Podium Klassiek and in Eva-Maria Westbroek’s new documentary. During the Remembrance Day service in Amsterdam, she performed Duruflé’s Requiem under the baton of Louis Buskens, with the Nederlands Concert Koor and Leo van Doeselaar. She took part in the Wagner4daagse in Nijmegen, appearing in various concerts and masterclasses.
