The South African-born mezzo-soprano Marie-Claire op ten Noort is a versatile singer. In January 2026 she returns to Weekend Opera Utrecht as Bersi in Andrea Chénier at TivoliVredenburg. At Weekend Opera Utrecht she performed Eboli (Don Carlo), Santuzza (Cavalleria Rusticana) and Amneris (Aida). Recently she stepped in last minute as Dido (Dido & Aeneas) with KunstVocaal and Erasmus Consort.
